Our team of kaimahi provide compassionate, culturally grounded support to help you and your whānau strengthen your wellbeing – across all aspects of life: taha wairua, hinengaro, tinana, and whānau.

Whether you’re just starting out or continuing your hauora journey, we’re here with practical support and guidance every step of the way.

We can help connect you with:

Quit smoking programmes
Alcohol and other drug (AOD) support
Mental health services
GP and specialist health care

We also offer:

Healthcare support and advocacy
Transport support to get you to and from appointments
Free, drop-in nurse-led clinics at our Alexandra office
– with our Registered Nurse, Pauline, offering care for sexual health, asthma, wound management, and general wellbeing checks
Personalised whānau health plans to set and reach your goals in a way that works for you

Māmā & Pēpi

Join us in a welcoming space for hāpu māmā and whānau with young tamariki to connect, share, and access social and health support.

Whether you're expecting a pēpi or raising little ones, you're warmly invited to drop in and be part of a supportive community.

We meet every Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Alexandra Baptist Church, 6 Gregg Street – no booking needed.

Whakapakari Tinana

Located at our main office in Alexandra, our boutique gym offers a private, welcoming space for whānau to work out in their own time and at their own pace.

Whether you're just getting started or continuing your fitness journey, this is your place to move, strengthen, and recharge.

🏋️ Weights Library – a range of gear available for whānau to borrow and use

🚣 Waka Ama Rowing Machines – land-based training on machines specially adapted for Waka Ama

This space is designed with whānau in mind – inclusive, empowering, and always here when you need it.

Mirimiri Clinic

Experience the healing power of Mirimiri – traditional Māori massage and bodywork grounded in wairua, whakapapa, and the holistic wellbeing of the individual.

Mirimiri is more than physical therapy – it restores balance, releases tension, supports emotional healing, and reconnects you to your tinana, hinengaro, wairua, and whānau.

We offer free weekly Mirimiri clinics at our Alexandra and Tāhuna offices:
