OFFICE MANAGER
25 hours per week, 9.30am – 2.30pm
Glenda Drive, Frankton
Join our Tāhuna Hauora Māori team and manage our Tāhuna office.
Tasks will include:
 Answering phone and emails
 Maintain Cold Chain processes for Immunisations
 Taking bookings and arranging clinics
 Supporting Whānau and guests that visit our office
 Offer admin and tech support to our Kaimahi
 Cleaning and maintenance of the office
 Liaise with tele communications, IT, and utility providers
 Marketing and promotions, social media management
 Preparing the office for hui and events
 Kai preparation
 Managing office supplies and equipment
 Health and Safety administration
Experience using Microsoft office is essential. Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work autonomously.

IMMUNISATION PROGRAMM NURSES

RC40 hours per week (negotiable)
Fixed Term until July 2025.
Based in Central Otago, Wānaka or Queenstown.

Join our Hauora Māori team and manage our in-house and outreach immunisation program.
Our ideal applicants will:
• Have current Nursing Council of New Zealand annual practising certificate.
• Be a fully authorised vaccinator or be willing to undertake training.
• Work with other healthcare professionals in our community to break down the barriers in accessing immunisation for Whānau.
• Deliver promotion, advice, and education of the immunisation program.
• Be willing to occasionally work outside the hours of 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday to ensure the program is accessible for everyone.
• Be committed to personal growth and professional development.
• Have a basic understanding of Tikanga Māori and Te Reo Māori and be willing to continue their learning journey.
• Manage cold chain and out-reach facilities.

Occasionally you may need to represent Uruuruwhenua at hui, attend events, provide transport for Whānau, and travel for trainings.

COMMUNITY CARE COORDINATOR

Are you a passionate and innovative healthcare professional ready to make a meaningful impact on the delivery of healthcare services in Tāhuna/Queenstown? Uruuruwhenua Health is excited to invite applications for the role of Community Care Coordinator as part of the local Comprehensive Primary Care Team (CPCT).

About the role
This is a permanent, full-time position but we can offer flexibility for the right candidate. The position is based at our Uruuruwhenua Hauora, Frankton office, working across the local GP practices of Tāhuna/Queenstown. This role will lead the CPCT team which includes a Kaiāwhina/Community Support Worker.

As Care Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role, focusing on delivering top-notch coordination to enhance the health outcomes of Whānau with complex health needs. You will be working with a team that values Whānau-centred care, making a real difference in the lives of those requiring seamless care across multiple providers. You will proactively monitor health, supporting Mana-Motuhake/self-management and preventing re-hospitalisations. You will also facilitate interdisciplinary functions at the General Practices, collaborating with health and social service providers.

What we are looking for
• A Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or other registered health professional with a current practising certificate.
• Ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• A positive “can do” attitude with a commitment to achieving the best health outcomes.
• Strong cultural competency and confidence with sufficient knowledge of the peoples, languages and cultures that form our most at risk communities.
• All applicants must be legally entitled to live and work in NZ and have an understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
